Export credit agencies facilitate and support exports to and investments in other countries. Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) are government corporations that help companies from their country do business in financially and politically risky developing countries and emerging markets.The Mineral Policy Institute was succesful in advocating for the adoption of an environmental and social policy for Australia's export credit agency and continues to monitor, critique and demand higher standards in its operations.
