Put your shares to good useDo you hold shares in a mining company? Join ethical shareholders who get together to make mining company boards of directors accountable for more than profits. One such group is the BHP Shareholders for Social Responsibility. These shareholders-with-a-conscience have asked questions about Ok Tedi, Gag Island and other BHP projects. BHP Shareholders for Social Responsibility have a website at http://www.bhpethical.shares.green.net.au or can be contacted at "bhpethical @ green.net.au" If you have shares in other mining companies and wish to ask questions at their Annual General Meeting, write letters of otherwise engage the company management, we would be happy to discuss issues which need raising. Please contact us.
